PRENATAL YOGA
Prepare your mind, body and spirit for motherhood.
During pregnancy your body goes through many changes, which creates stress on you mentally and physically. A way to maintain a healthy mind and body is with prenatal yoga. Prenatal yoga focuses on poses for pregnant women in order to increase strength and flexibility. It also helps to develop proper breathing and relaxation techniques, which facilitates an easier and more comfortable labour.
“Prenatal yoga is a multifaceted approach to exercise that encourages stretching, mental centering and focused breathing,” says Mayo Clinic (non-profit medical practice and research group).
But what specifically can yoga do to help you feel great and stay calm during the most important nine months of your child's life?
“The OM Revolution came to the 10X Investments office twice a week to host Yoga sessions. They were fantastic at accommodating the different fitness and experience levels amongst the team. To have a yoga session during working hours was immensely beneficial for staff and a great way to spend the afternoon. Thank you for bringing us more peace and smiles.“
Jodene de Klerk, HR Manager“When we initially reached out to Hayley from The Om Revolution, we were looking for someone to host an insert on our television show. The instructor was meant to take an ex-professional rugby player through a yoga session. Hayley succeed in this in spite of the pressures of cameras and crew and the Om revolution did so well, we ended up using them three more times over the course of the series. Wonderful instructors, awesome classes and a great offering. And you get to choose the location! Highly recommended for anyone and everyone from beginners to advanced at each of the varied disciplines they teach. 10/10 would recommend.“
Melt van der Spuy, Wyrd Films“We have found the Om Revolution to be an incredibly professional, friendly and accommodating service. The instructors are of high quality, patient and easy to work with. Overall Joe has created an amazingly well-run business – providing excellent service. We look forward to creating a long-standing relationship with you.“
Fatima Karodia HR, Training & Development Officer“We love our weekly yoga sessions with The Om Revolution! It’s great to have a dedicated time to unwind at the office. Meg van Strijp, Office Manager“From the moment I started chatting to Hayley from The OM Revolution I knew great things were about begin. In record timing, Hayley had connected us with the amazing Leane, our Yogi Queen to come to our offices to guide our team on our Yoga journey. Leane has changed our lives, both work and home, with her energy, patience, positivity and knows of Yoga. We are so grateful for this wonderful service. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Namaste!“
Robyn McArthur, Office Operations Manager“I have been trying to get my husband to do yoga for 10 years with no success. I came across The Om Revolution online and thought a home instructor would be perfect. I sent a message online over December about a January start and assumed I wouldn’t get a reply. I was pleasantly surprised when I did and 2 days later start date and instructor were booked. We’re a month in and our instructor is lovely and my husband is enjoying it so much, even saying it is helping him with the other training that he does. Highly recommend.“
Nicolette Skjoldhammer“BSG has had corporate yoga through the Om Revolution since May 2015 and we have loved every class. It’s great that our company has made this available, and it’s amazing to have a company who can provide us with a fantastic regular instructor as well as great substitutes when required.“
Susanna van Schalkwyk“I can’t recommend The Om Revolution highly enough. Despite having to change location on the day from Table Mountain to Clifton Beach, due to very high winds, all went very smoothly and all sixteen of us had a great time. Hayley’s organisation was flawless and her friendliness much appreciated; furthermore, Magenta pitched the yoga session perfectly for the various capabilities in our group. All in all it was a memorable experience.“
